Job Description: The Guardian Group provides trusted and dynamic solutions in the areas of community living supports and niche-specific healthcare staffing. The qualified Human Resources Coordinator will ensure the daily maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (ABRA). This position serves as the point-of-contact for assigned functional area, ensuring data integrity of the system by entering and maintaining accurate and timely personnel information in the system. This position is also responsible for running and distributing HRIS reports as requested or required. Performs other Human Resources support functions as indicated.


Receives company wide new hire paperwork from field and enters all new hires into the HRIS system including entry of specific payroll data to include federal, state, local, and workers compensation taxes. Sets up direct deposit of employees payroll. Establishes accurate PTO accruals on new hires;

Functions as a liaison with Corporate Payroll and field HR staff to resolve discrepancies and/or issues with new hires, status changes, missing paperwork, etc.;

Processes all salary/pay changes, job changes, intra-company transfers, address changes, etc. in ABRA, ensuring that proper backup documentation is received;

Processes all terminations and rehires in the system;

Responsible for running and distributing monthly Performance Reviews Due reports and notifying Human Resources Director of reviews not received within one month of distribution to field;

Runs other special reports as requested;

Coordinates with Sage ABRA support to troubleshoot and fix system issues relating to data entry;

Assists Director of Human Resources with system changes, upgrades and process improvements;

Communicates with co-workers, management, clients and field operational personnel in a courteous and professional manner;

Perform job duties with the highest levels of ethical conduct and integrity;

Represent The Guardian Group, Inc., and its affiliated corporate entities and employees in a professional and businesslike manner when interacting with all clients and business associates;

Demonstrate personal conduct in the work setting which will promote development of appropriate, supportive, collegial, and professional working relationships with Guardian Group management staff and employees;

Serve as a professional role model and/or career development mentor and/or trainer, as requested and/or as appropriate for other Guardian Group employees;

Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Advanced knowledge of ABRA HRIS software and at least one year system experience. Requires attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and ability to proof documents for accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data and sensitive information. Ability to conduct daily duties in a professional manner. Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
