Guardian Healthcare Providers is currently recruiting and hiring Physical Therapists for various part time contract positions throughout the State of Missouri, specifically in St. Louis and Boone County. These opportunities will help clients develop, maintain and restore maximum movement in a home setting. Your interactions will involve clients, families and care givers to assess movement potential and establish goals and objectives using your knowledge and skills. Typical services include:
•Screening and evaluating patients.
•Delivering a full range of assessments and treatment plans including therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents and exercise to maximize functional independence.
•Establishing objectives and documenting progress of identified objectives.
•Conducting patient education and counseling.
The ideal candidates will possess a current Missouri Physical Therapy license, a degree from an accredited program and preferably a minimum of 1 year of experience working with developmentally disabled patients. However, new grads are encouraged to apply!
